The Shire Of Ramsgaard presents our 6th Annual YuleTide Revel Yuletide Revel YULE
TIDE REVEL Come celebrate
the Yuletide season at Ramsgaard's Yuletide Revel on Saturday December 12, 2009! This year's Yule
will be loosly based on a RUS Theme. The Shire is providing Beef Stroganoff and Bread through the wonderful talents of
Lady Isabeau of Loc Logan. Her Ladyship Katrynka Chornovoloskaya will be providing a few homemade pyrohi (from her perogy
making class) and Kutia (boiled wheat with honey and poppyseed - a traditional starter at Ukrainian Christmas). We are
asking participants to the potluck to try to bring a Ukrainian or Russian themed food item, if possible - enough to serve
10 people. Some suggestions
are: Cheese and Kubassa (Garlic sausage); Pyrohi (perogies) with sour cream and/or fried onions and butter (or margerine);
Bacon (can bring it uncooked and we will cook it up there); Borsch (Beet and Cabbage Soup); Holubsti (cabbage rolls); salmon
or herring; Helesnika (crepes filled with cottage cheese); salad; fasouli (beans); pickled mushrooms and other pickled vegetables;
fruit plate; etc As the event is likely to be small and we would like to try not to
repeat too many of the same dishes, please email the autocrats back to let us know what you have decided to bring, so we can
cross it off. We will be doing
some Rus - themed games; there will be a perogy making class and a heraldry information session; there will be Dancing
being taught - both medieval dance and period-style Ukrainian dance. And, as a special treat, the Pokotillo Ukrainian
dancers will be performing a couple of dances. SCHEDULE:

$9.00 plus contribution to potluck meal. No NMS surcharge PARKING: Please park behind the site, to avoid taking up spots that neighbouring businesses need for
their customers. There is plenty of parking behind the side, both in the lot slightly behind the site and in a city parking
lot in the back, about 1/3 of a block away. Directions to Site: FROM EAST(Skirting city centre).
