TARGET ARCHERY MARSHAL AUTHORIZATION:

For those interested in becoming a Junior Target Archery Marshal, there is now a "Travelling Archery Roadshow" where marshalls may attend your event or hold a workshop (if there is enough interest) and teach a marshall class, with the intent of signing off junior marshalls, for those who can demonstrate knowledge and safety.

If interested in this, please keep an eye out for the next time Senior marshalls may be attending an event you are going to.

Those interested, should review the Target Archery Handbook.

RAMSGAARD ARCHERY PRACTICE:
There is no current Ramsgaard Archery Practice (we are looking for an outdoor site).

For those interested in practicing archery, the Kamloops Archery Club, runs under the Kamloops Target Sports Club.

The membership year is the same as the calendar year so if you do not have a 2007 membership you can join by filling out a membership form ($70 ??) at the Powder Keg Shooter Supplies and then signing up for an orientation.  Take a look at www.ktsa.ca for more details and to print out a membership form.

Archers meet Tuesday Nights.  Indoor Shoot is at Calvary Gym from Oct - April/May.  5:30 - 8:00 pm.  Outdoor shoot during the warm months is in combination with the gun club.

For more information on joining Kamloops Archery Club, contact Powder Keg Shooters Supply.

OTHER INFO ON ARCHERY

Here's the current information I have been asked to share:

Good cousin Duncan,

I've heard you have some candidates wanting to take a TAM course and become marshals.  I've been in touch with the Principality Archery Marshal and we're trying to put a course together in some central venue.  I have a list of names from Appledore, Danescombe and Krakenfjord - do you want to add anyone from Ramsgaard?

If we pool our resources we can cover off travel costs for the instructor(s) and keep our costs down.

Cheers ...

Yours in Service,
Sevrin de Savage
Seneschal of Appledore
Cadet to Don Enoch Jacobsz. van Zuidenland
